Julia Kristeva is a writer, psychoanalyst and professor emeritus at the University of Paris Diderot-Paris and an internationally renowned author of some 30 works of non-fiction as well as fiction. A Commander of the Legion of Honor Kristeva is herself the recipient of numerous awards, including the Hannah Arendt prize as well as being the founder of the Prize Simone de Beauvoir for the freedom of the women.
